Pretty Pleased

I like to see the Ace of Wands in readings now that I know the story behind this particular one. It is the Place of New Beginnings for me and predicts a new adventure. With the wistful 6 of Cups beside it, I'd say that this could involve a good friend, but might also concern something or someone from the past. I have spent my day working on projects I started a while back but have not finished, so these cards could have something to do with that.

Even though I had been putting it off, I spent this morning pinning together the patchwork pieces I obtained from the training day. My mum made some coffee and watched me as I laid them all out over the living room floor. I have continued with the easier ones and am yet to try and piece together the more obscure shapes and sizes. I managed to get another three rows sewn and attached today and have only four more left to do. It is getting so heavy. I took a break to try printing out my Green Tarot card designs. I laminated them and trimmed them to size, leaving the corners straight as that looked better. I only wanted to see how they would look in the hand, but I guess I could use them when the project is complete. I have finished 19 now and have 59 left to do.

I am pretty pleased with what I have achieved today. I am tired now, but for all the right reasons. I am finishing early, will have a bath, and then go over to see my boyfriend.
