I love the blues in this card. The Russian Tarot of St Petersburg has some equally beautiful colours in it and I wonder if it was it's inspiration. I can definitely see a very strong leaning towards the Visconti Sforza in the major cards.
In today's card, a dozing pussy sits in a boat. The waves around him are rough and he dreams of calmer waters. This card suggests a journey. Funnily enough, the last time I remember drawing it was when I was taking the train up to London, which is where I am going this afternoon. Even though the card can represent a journey over water (the river in that case), it can also be speaking about a turning point in our life, where we begin to move out of a rough situation and are directed towards a calmer place. This might be concerning my visit to the doctor yesterday, who put my active mind at rest for now, or it could be speaking about my friend, in suggesting that she is beginning to feel better.
Yesterday continued in much the same way as it started. By the late afternoon, I didn't feel up to much more than laying on my bed and sleeping. I felt like an inflatable that had had it's plug removed and my eyes were heavy. I am still feeling on the fatigued side of health, but my early night did me good. I have a meeting with my agent this morning, so I need to get myself ready for that. She and I first met about twenty-odd years ago, so getting together will be a combination of an innocent gossip and a talk about what is going on in the school I am still working in. She deals with any problems between me and the staff there and I have a list of things to bring up and discuss. After lunch, I am taking the train to London to meet my boyfriend and his mates from work. It promises to be a relatively sedate evening, which is just what I need at the moment. We have had a few too many social events in the diary of late and have both agreed that this will be the last we attend for a bit.
