I thought I would mix things up today and draw from two decks. There is something that keeps pulling me back to the Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle, so I teamed it up with yesterday's Art Nouveau version of the Lenormand. My knowledge of the Lenormand method is far smaller than my understanding of tarot, but even I can see that this is a good duo. In the first book that I learned about The Lenormand Oracle from (by Titania Hardie), it said that when The Flowers sits with another card, it promises that relevant dreams will come true. The House is connected to both the home and security. As we are selling our property, wouldn't you agree that these two cards appear pretty inspiring? The house in this deck actually reminds me of the one that we want, since it is detached and surrounded by bushes and trees.
We were visited by a viewer this morning, who came with her friend. She looked relatively interested, but to be honest, most of them do, whether they are or not in the end. She said how nice the view of the trees is from my bedroom window, smiled, and left. After she had gone, my friend visited for a coffee. I read for her on my bed with the Art Nouveau Tarot and we caught up on the things we have been up to over a cuppa. Once she was gone, there was barely enough time to do much more than make sure that the house was ship-shape again for our next viewing. A man turned up with three children and one teenager. The kids tore through the house like a thunderstorm, screeching as they ran through the garden. With a small smile on my face, I thought 'Now there could be a bit of karma for next door'. The man didn't stay long. He had received a call from his father, who wanted to come and see the house, so they all disappeared for half an hour, and returned with three more people. Once gone, they stood outside for about fifteen minutes, looking up at our roof, thinking, talking, and looking around. Believe it or not, their little tearaways ended up playing with Dumb and Dumber in the car park out the front. Dumber was wearing the same school shirt as they were, which lead me to wonder if they knew them already.
It would be obvious to see today's card, The Greenman's Bride, as one of romance and marriage, but I don't. Due to our viewings, I thought of commitment and a coming together of different parties. We have had many people walk around our house now. Are we at the point where someone will be in the position to get serious and tie the knot?
