The first thing I noticed in today's draw is that the key card is a repeat from one in my last, the 8 of Pentacles. In my last read, it described me working and revising for my maths test, but with the meaning reversed, today is more about relaxation and the moment. It's not one of planning. The last card could be relatively testing, offering a need to stand up for my self, but here it will be put on hold; possibly representing things getting on top of me. The Fool seems to jump away from all of that and says 'It's sunny outside .. let's just throw caution to the wind and enjoy our selves'.
Being the only upright card in the spread, it is The Fool I am most taken with. He seems to be jumping away from the overwhelming reversed 2 of Pentacles and 7 of Wands. I can kind of see his point. I am not in the mood for all of that today. When upright, the guy in the 2 of Pentacles is on top of stuff, but not here. In t
he reversed 7 of Wands, he is not putting up much of a fight. Let's jump away from all of that with The Fool, eh? I can think of one situation with a friend which I would rather jump off of a cliff to avoid, rather than confront.

Since we moved to this new house, we have sorted the bathrooms and the kitchen is just about done (see before and after shots). My dad is finishing off the utility room. We haven't really looked at
the garden since we got there, but my mum went out into it yesterday, since the sun was out. Can you believe that it was so overgrown that she actually found a small section with a shed in it that we didn't know we had? My dad cut away some of the bushes that had covered it, revealing a stacked up shed. I have been wanting a new tarot table for some time and was considering either buying one or getting one off of my mate, so I was pretty pleased to find a fold-up one in the shed. It is white like the furniture in my room, and being collapsible, is actually something I would have bought. So I cleaned it up this morning and it is now standing in front of my window - it's perfect for large spreads.

that is one classy looking kitchen :]
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks Bonkers. It is just nice to be able to cook in somewhere nice and clean for a change :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about your garden yesterday and wondering when you'd venture into the hinterland. It's like Sleeping Beauty, you'll need a machete. I hope your Dad's health allows him to get outside more and feel the Earth again.
ReplyDeleteJudging by their last garden, your parents will have this new one looking exquisite. they have such an eye, as do you, for decorating and design.

Nice upgrade in the kitchen. Looks clean and bright. :)
ReplyDeleteThe spread really is interesting with the Fool being the only non-reversal. He does command attention in that way. Hope you can trust and enjoy yourself. :)
How awesome that you found a hidden shed under some overgrowth. That's wild!!! I love things like that. Congrats on your tarot table score. Looking forward to seeing pictures of it.
Hope you have a marvelous week.
Hugs,
MM
Holey moley, look at that kitchen :) that is amazing! Especially given you only just moved and energy levels must be a bit low. Well done :) I love seeing pics of people doing up their houses and restoring with love. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteThanks Monica. Well, aside from my dad, the credit goes to my uncle and my cousin, who fitted it, tiled, put down the flooring, dropped the roof, installed the spotlights, etc etc. It is so nice to be out there now. We must have been here just ubder three months now and as much as I have got used to living in the in between stages, things are coming along quicker than I thought they would have.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you too!
