Curiosity Helped the Cat

So, I decided to give the old video reading another go for a bit of practice. For this one, I wanted to try Ana Cortez's Cat Spread with tarot, which meant amending my deck to suit. I tried to upload a decent resolution video to YouTube, but after a whole night of uploading and it still showing two hours left and growing, I scrapped it and have put out this low-res version. To be honest, it doesn't make that much difference to the essence of the film. I did notice, however, that I make one mistake. When I say that there are 13 weeks in a lunar year, I actually mean a season. That's what happens when nerves get the better of you. Gosh, I hate watching myself on camera. Part One of the reading can be seen here.

I wouldn't say it is my most accomplished reading, but as I continue to repeat to myself, practice makes perfect. We live and learn, eh? One of my old art lecturers used to advise me to not hide my mistakes and to 'get the s**t out'. His idea was that once we had tried (whether a success or failure), we would make way for greater things. So this is me, 'getting the s**t out'. Part Two of the reading can be seen here.

  1. Not bad for a nervous dude!
You handled that reading with great sensitivity and knowledge. Your clients should be blessed! They wil gain a much better perspective of their issues after a reading with you.
What I noticed is how you use the basic meaning of each card as a springboard for you intuition and then let that flow freely into an insightful and unique reading for every different situation.
I have been reading for others for decades now and never stop learning from my clients and from each reading--sometimes I still feel like I know nothing! but that's a professional secret ok? lol. but the best readings have always been given by adopting your method.
Keep up the good work, you have much to bring to the world with your gifts, which your circumstances are allowing you to tap into and hone.
    To be continued...

  2. Thanks for your kind words. I know those feelings you speak about. Some days, things click together like magic and on others, everything I know and feel deserts me. Maybe that is an asset too - to look at things from a fresh perspective, without the ego or complacency getting in the way.

Thanks again. It always helps to hear how others view my reading style.
